Mirage Imaging MRI Center is pleased to announce the addition of Hitachi AIRIS II high performance premium Open MR imaging system to our facility.  AIRIS II combines the unmatched comfort of Hitachi's unique award-winning open-air gantry with advanced high performance electronics and clinical capabilities for excellent imaging quality.

The AIRIS II provides advanced imaging capabilities such as high resolution thin slice imaging, MR angiography and dynamic imaging of joints with a complete set of RF specialty coils designed for comfortable imaging of of the head, spine, pelvis, abdomen, breast and extremities.  With accessibility from all four sides, physicians can reach patients from the front, back and sides of the magnet, optimizing the system for medical care provider accessibility.

The patients will find the patient-oriented AIRIS II system provides a comfortable environment during their MR examination.  The innovative open-air gantry design of the AIRIS II provides the opportunity to constantly and directly attend to pediatric patients as well as accommodate the most demanding cases such as anxious, claustrophobic and large patients.  Overall, the AIRIS II design provides superior operator access and reassurance to the patient.
